Job Description:

Join UCSF Health Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland as a Pediatric OR Registered Nurse for a 10-week contract. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a Pediatric Operating Room setting. You will work in a fast-paced environment with day shifts starting at either 6:45 or 8:45 am, and shifts rotating bi-weekly based on departmental needs. Your responsibilities include preparing patients for surgery, supporting anesthesia and surgical teams, and ensuring optimal patient safety throughout procedures. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated pediatric team, gaining exposure to various types of pediatric surgeries, including CVOR and trauma cases, all while experiencing the vibrant culture of the Bay Area.
