Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in the CICU at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be immersed in a specialized ICU setting, managing a patient load that requires advanced cardiovascular skills. Your responsibilities will include titration of vesicant medications, interpreting telemetry, managing ventilators and trachs, and understanding hemodynamics and PA catheter setups. The unit utilizes state-of-the-art equipment such as ventilators, telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and often employs advanced procedures like cardioversion and chest tube insertions. This assignment offers an opportunity for experienced ICU RNs to hone their skills in a high-acuity environment with a focus on cardiac and critical patient care. You will work 36 hours per week, with the possibility to float across different areas of the unit, providing a varied and engaging experience.
