Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team at a reputable community hospital in Yakima, Washington, for a 21-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse specializing in intensive care. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical support to patients with complex conditions such as CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, and post-cath recovery. You'll handle advanced procedures like monitoring femoral arterial sheaths, managing chest tubes, wound vacs, and dressing changes, with some exposure to procedures involving Art line, Impella, or IABP. The unit operates with an electronic medical record system (EPIC) and requires adaptability across ICU and lower-level units. Experience in a variety of patient types and drips (diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, heparin, etc.) is necessary, along with current ACLS and BLS certifications. This role offers a steady weekly schedule with a total commitment of 36 hours per week, providing a rewarding opportunity to refine your ICU skills in a supportive environment.
