Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions you in a bustling Emergency Department, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical support during your nights on the floor. The role demands experience with drips, including sedations and vasoactive agents, as well as proficiency in reading tele strips and managing antiarrhythmics like heparin and insulin. You will be the go-to professional for pain control and trauma care, armed with recent Level I trauma experience and an active Iowa license. During your shift, you'll handle diverse emergencies, often rotating through busy nights that keep your skills sharp. The assignment offers a rewarding opportunity for emergency nurses ready to make an impact in a fast-paced environment and grow their trauma expertise.
