Job Description:

Join a step-down and MedSurg unit as a Registered Nurse working nights in Shreveport, Louisiana. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts, with an average weekly gross pay of $1,749.04. You'll be supporting patients with conditions like CVA/TIA needing TPA, spinal surgeries, and overflow cases including AFIB/RVR, DKA, COPD, and post-heart caths. Your role will include managing cardiac monitors, performing charting in Meditech Expanse, and coordinating with in-house support teams like phlebotomy, RT, and hospitalists. This assignment offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where you can apply your acute care skills, especially in telemetry and cardiac management. The schedule includes alternating work weeks, with mandatory weekend rotations, and involves working four days one week and three days the next. Be prepared for orientation, holiday shifts, and a supportive traveler-friendly culture.
