Job Description:

This travel contract places you on the 5th floor of the Owen Heart Center (Heart Tower) in Asheville, NC, specializing in cardiovascular care. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts for 13 consecutive weeks, providing crucial telemetry monitoring and supporting patients with complex cardiac conditions such as CHF, MI, arrhythmias, and post-procedure care. Your role involves managing titratable cardiac IV medications, utilizing specialized equipment like Zoll monitors and Baxter pumps, and collaborating closely with a dedicated team. The setting offers a mix of acute cardiac patients with varied needs, making each shift engaging and unique. Expect to work a 36-hour week, with options for floating across MedSurg, Stepdown, COVID, and ER holding units, ensuring a dynamic work experience.
