Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in Lufkin, Texas, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour day shifts. This role involves transitioning to the Virtual Integrated Care (VIC) nursing model, providing remote monitoring and support for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, diabetes, PNA, and CKD. The assignment requires effective communication and time management skills to manage patients on Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow oxygen, with a focus on patient safety and care coordination. You'll be responsible for reading strip readings and collaborating with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators. Floating to all med/surg units is required, offering a varied and engaging experience. No block scheduling is available, but consistent scheduling is managed by the facility. This position provides an opportunity to be part of a cohesive team in a department well-oriented to telehealth services.
