Job Description:

This 13-week travel healthcare assignment in Norfolk, VA offers an engaging opportunity for experienced post-cardiac surgery professionals. You will primarily manage sternotomy patients and those with epicardial pacing wires, a role that involves closely monitoring post-operative cardiac patients and responding to various critical needs. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing a unique chance to develop expertise in nocturnal patient care routines and collaborate with a specialized medical team. Embrace this chance to work with patients recovering from procedures such as PCI, using medications like vasopressin, nitro, antiarrhythmics, insulin, and heparin, while handling epicardial pacer boxes, trachs, PEGs, and CTs. This role combines complex device management with acute patient monitoring in a stimulating environment.
