Job Description:

This ICU travel assignment in Yuma, AZ offers a hands-on experience for critical care nurses ready to step into a fast-paced environment. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, managing a diverse patient population including cardiac, post-operative, and trauma cases. Your expertise with vent management, drips, and various ICU procedures will be essential as you support a dedicated team, including RTs and in-house intensivists. Expect to keep small head bleeds stable, respond to code situations, and assist with complex titratable medications. This role provides a chance to sharpen your ICU skills amid a supportive team in a facility with a 42-bed capacity, living up to trauma level I/II standards. Be prepared to adapt to float requirements and work self-scheduled shifts while meeting weekend and holiday commitments. No blocked scheduling requests—flexibility is key to making this assignment a success.
