Job Description:

This adult Respiratory Therapist (RRT) contract at Ashley River Tower offers a hands-on opportunity to work within a bustling Level 1 Trauma Magnet facility in Charleston, SC. You'll be providing critical care in the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical-Surgical units, focusing on complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients—including heart and lung transplants, ECMO, and IABP support. The role involves three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend work and holidays required. Float within scope may occasionally be to the main hospital, but there’s no emergency team activation. Certification of NBRC RRT and SC RCP is required, along with at least two years of adult critical care experience. This assignment uniquely combines high-acuity patient care with the chance to be part of a teaching, research-oriented environment.
