Job Description:

This psychiatric nursing contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a teaching hospital setting located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. You will be providing direct patient care to adult psychiatric patients with diagnoses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and suicidal ideation. The role involves a 12-hour day shift schedule over 13 weeks, engaging in both therapeutic interventions and documentation within a high-acuity environment. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing skills in de-escalation, restraint management, and medication administration. Expect to develop meaningful therapeutic relationships and contribute to supportive care in a unit that values patient-centered approaches and teamwork.
