Job Description:

This twelve-hour day shift opportunity places you within one of OU Health's specialized units, providing essential nursing care to a dedicated group of patients. You'll be responsible for documenting responses to treatments, assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures, monitoring physiological data, and administering medications. The role requires delivering competent patient care, overseeing treatments by support staff, and communicating care plans with patients and their families. You will also manage intravenous infusions, blood products, and respond to changes in patient conditions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This assignment offers a chance to hone specialized skills in a busy hospital setting that appreciates thorough, attentive nursing professionals.
