Job Description:

Join our team as a Surgical First Assistant specializing in cardiac procedures in Charleston, West Virginia. This role involves supporting complex cardiovascular surgeries with a focus on vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting, utilizing both 4x10-hour shifts and 3x12-hour shifts. You'll work alongside experienced surgical teams in the operating room, often on robotic-assisted surgeries and thoracic cases. Expect to handle approximately 5-6 cardiac cases daily and participate in on-call duties during weekday and weekend hours. This assignment offers a chance to gain valuable expertise in cardiac assisting while working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment—think of it as the ultimate test of your surgical skills and precision.
