Job Description:

This travel contract offers an engaging opportunity for a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse to work in an overflow Intermediate Medical Cardiology Unit, focusing on arrhythmia management and post-cardiac care. You will be responsible for managing patients with complex cardiac conditions such as atrial fibrillation, SVT, Bradycardia, and post-procedure patients including those who have undergone cardiac cath or vascular interventions. Your role includes administering cardiac drips like Amiodarone, Dopamine, Nitroglycerin, and Insulin, while constantly monitoring and responding to changing patient needs. Expect to float within the facility, manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:5-6, and operate within electronic systems like Epic and Pyxis. This assignment combines clinical expertise with a touch of teamwork, as you help ensure smooth patient transitions and provide high-standard cardiac care during night shifts.
