Job Description:

Join a Level II trauma center in Tacoma as a registered nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. This position is for a scheduled break nurse working 10-hour night shifts, providing vital support during high-acuity deliveries, including c-sections, preterm labor, and postpartum recovery. You will triage OB patients, assist with fetal monitoring, and help manage both normal and high-risk deliveries. This role offers a chance to work alongside experienced physicians, midwives, and a dedicated team in a bustling obstetrics unit where up to 300 deliveries happen monthly. Your responsibilities will include supporting clinical activities, helping in the OR, and participating in patient education—all within a short, 13-week contract designed for travel nurses with at least two years of experience in labor and delivery.
