Job Description:

Join this high-energy Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Shreveport, LA. You’ll be managing a busy caseload of 85-95 patient visits daily, covering a wide range of cases from respiratory distress and stroke to minor traumas and mental health. Your responsibilities include performing IV starts, continuous patient monitoring, and holding admitted patients in the ED, all while working a 12-hour night shift. This role offers a unique chance to sharpen your ED skills in a fast-paced environment with experienced support staff, including hospitalists and RTs. Be prepared to pass an EKG competency exam and showcase your ability to multitask effectively in this critical setting.
