Job Description:

Join our facility in West Burlington, IA, for a 13-week contract working in the Medical Care Unit. This role involves providing patient support and care to individuals with a variety of medical diagnoses, mostly overseeing less acute cases awaiting long-term placement. The position features 12-hour night shifts, offering a steady schedule, and the opportunity to float between the Medical Care Unit and Inpatient Rehab, with a focus on telemetry experience. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care via assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, working closely with other health team members. EPIC EMR experience within the past year is required. While there is no regular call rotation, occasional on-call duties may arise during periods of low census, with a one-hour response expectation from the traveler. The weekly commitment is 36 hours, supporting a balanced work routine.
