Job Description:

Join a lively PICU team in Omaha, Nebraska, as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week hospital assignment. This role involves working in a mixed-acuity unit where you'll perform tasks beyond traditional nursing duties, including repositioning patients, assisting with transport, and supporting patients with activities such as ambulation and meal assistance. You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, contributing to a fast-paced environment that demands flexibility, as you may be called upon to work across different inpatient units like NICU and adult acute care when needed. This position offers an opportunity to gain high-acuity pediatric care experience in a well-regarded hospital with a 24-bed unit, while experiencing the vibrant city of Omaha. Note that all staff are expected to work a minimum of three weekend shifts, and holiday work is required, making it a role suited for those ready to embrace a comprehensive schedule. The facility requires BLS and PALS certification, prefers ACLS, and values candidates with at least two years of pediatric care experience, especially in high-acuity settings.
