Job Description:

This registered nurse position in the operating room focuses on orthopedic, neurosurgical, ENT, and pain management cases, including procedures like total joints, ORIF, microsurgery, and discectomy. The role involves circulating during various surgeries, supporting the anesthesia team, and working with a diverse surgical team. Shifts are typically 10 hours long, with some flexibility to include four days a week, offering a balance of hands-on surgical support and team collaboration. Expect to utilize skills in phlebotomy, support on the unit, and charting system Epic. Be prepared for potential floating opportunities to the Rapid City hospital OR as needed. This assignment offers a chance to gain valuable OR experience, especially for those with 1.5+ years of circulatory RN experience, and involves working in a facility with four beds and an average of 7-13 cases per day.
