Job Description:

This travel contract offers a hands-on opportunity as a Generalist with a focus on lab testing in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will be responsible for performing hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, coagulation, urinalysis, and limited molecular testing. Phlebotomy is a significant part of the role, including neonatal capillary and venous collections, blood cultures, and arterial blood gases. This assignment is perfect for a generalist with strong phlebotomy skills eager to handle high-volume work while working evening shifts. You'll work with advanced equipment like the Sysmex XN, Roche Cobas 8000, and Cepheid Gene Xpert. No blood bank experience is required, but prior lab work experience and travel history are preferred.
