Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU RN for a 16-week contract in Kearney, Nebraska, working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a hands-on experience managing critically ill adult patients with diagnoses such as trauma, cardiac issues, overdose, sepsis, and respiratory distress. You will be responsible for titrating various drips, interpreting monitor strips, and collaborating with a healthcare team in a 33-bed unit. The position requires a valid driver’s license for background checks, and certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS is mandatory. Be prepared to demonstrate your skills through open-book exams, and keep up with policies like no artificial nails in patient care areas. This assignment provides an engaging opportunity to work in a dynamic ICU setting, where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes. The weekly effort averages 48 hours, and the schedule includes some weekend work and holidays, with opportunities for self-scheduling on core staff days.
