Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a PCU Registered Nurse at a reputable facility in Columbus, Ohio, working in the Acute Leukemia and Hematology unit. This 16-week contract offers a 12-hour rotating day/night shift schedule, with patient care focused on adults and geriatric populations. Your role involves managing newly diagnosed leukemia cases, utilizing telemetry monitoring, and performing IV therapy and blood draws. With a strong emphasis on infection prevention and fall prevention protocols, you'll operate in a highly specialized environment that challenges and sharpens your nursing skills. Expect to work approximately 36 hours per week, with staffing goals aiming for 1:4 ratios. This assignment is perfect for nurses with at least 2 years of acute care experience, including a minimum of 1 year in PCU, comfortable interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing central lines and PICC lines. First-time travelers are encouraged, as no chemo certification is required!
