Job Description:

Join a specialized oncology unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll provide care for hematology, medical oncology, bone marrow transplant, gynecologic, and surgical oncology patients. This role is centered around 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, offering a consistent schedule over a 13-week contract. You will work in a 7-bed positive pressure wing with equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, barcode medication systems, and bedside CVC placements. The job involves managing complex cases in a setting that welcomes first-time travelers and requires adaptability, especially during emergency events where your role may include being part of an emergency or relief team. Expect to handle patient care tasks specific to oncology and participate in procedures like bone marrow biopsies, all while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
