Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse in Largo, Maryland, where you'll provide critical post-anesthesia care to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics through geriatrics. This 13-week contract offers a steady schedule of three 12-hour daytime shifts each week (07:30-20:00), giving you ample time to enjoy your surroundings. You’ll work in a bustling PACU setting with a 1:4 patient ratio and handle cases spanning orthopedic, neurological, cardiothoracic, vascular, and general surgeries. We welcome first-time travelers with 3-5 years of PACU experience or at least 2 years of ICU background, making this a great stepping stone for new adventurers in travel nursing. Licensing includes an active MD RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications. Floating within the specialty and occasionally to sister facilities ensures variety, all while staying within a supportive team environment.
