Job Description:

This ICU RN contract in Philadelphia offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with floating responsibilities across various ICU units, including step-down, IMCU, and ED. You'll be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the direction of a licensed physician, collaborating closely with healthcare team members and patients’ families. The role involves a mix of autonomous decision-making and teamwork, with the chance to experience a variety of cases such as preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage, and hypertensive conditions. Travel RNs will receive orientation specific to ICU and may float to Women’s and Family units as needed, always maintaining ratios not exceeding 1:3. Expect a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, with potential for mid-shift float to other units, offering a unique chance to broaden your ICU expertise in a vibrant hospital setting.
