Job Description:

This RN contract position involves providing specialized care in a mixed adult and pediatric telemetry unit that also floats to a mother/baby unit. The role requires managing a diverse caseload, including adult MST patients, pediatric patients with respiratory illnesses, and post-surgical adult and pediatric patients. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. A key aspect of this assignment is reviewing patient profiles and preparing for manager interviews, with the added challenge of passing a dysrhythmia exam—an exam that’s taken seriously, so brush up on your rhythm skills. The unit offers a fast-paced environment where you'll stabilize patients needing high-flow oxygen, bi-pap, and other respiratory support, all while coordinating transfers and responding to fluctuating census levels.
