Job Description:

Join a busy Level II Trauma Center in Largo, Maryland, as an Operating Room Registered Nurse working evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:15 PM. This 13-week contract offers the chance to scrub and circulate across a variety of surgical specialties, including trauma, neuro, orthopedic, plastics, gynecology, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardio, bariatric, and robotics. Suitable for experienced OR nurses with at least three years of general OR background; those with robotics skills and strong circulation experience will be strongly considered, even if they have two years of experience. This assignment is ideal for first-time travelers eager to gain diverse surgical experience. The role requires flexibility with holidays, weekends, and on-call duties, including 24-hour weekend calls and weekday calls ending at 6:30 AM. Expect to work approximately 40 hours weekly, floating within the specialty and across facilities as needed, with a focus on smooth patient procedures and surgical support.
