Job Description:

Join the team at a celebrated birthing center in Bloomington, Illinois, for a 13-week travel assignment as a labor and delivery RN. This role offers a chance to experience the rhythm of a busy maternity unit, with scheduled 12-hour night shifts and every-other-weekend work. You'll be skilled in handling all aspects of labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care, with a focus on supporting mothers and newborns in a Level II nursery environment. This assignment uniquely combines the energy of a high-volume birth center—handling approximately 700 deliveries annually—with the supportive presence of in-house neonatology providers 24/7. Your hands-on expertise in labor & delivery, along with your ability to troubleshoot equipment like Cpap devices and fetal monitors, will be vital components of your daily work.
