Job Description:

This ICU nursing role places you right in the midst of a busy, advanced cardiovascular and medical intensive care unit caring for patients with conditions such as DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator dependence. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing both routine and complex care, often managing patients with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT. The assignment offers a chance to refine your critical care skills in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on independence, assessment, and patient education. Expect a balanced mix of manual and procedural work, and the opportunity to collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams. This role is perfect for nurses eager to deepen their expertise in a specialized ICU setting, working every other weekend with no on-call requirements.
