Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions you as an RN on the Medical-Surgical unit at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing essential patient care in a 30-bed unit that manages a variety of respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal conditions. Your responsibilities will include administering treatments, managing complex IV setups, and collaborating closely with a dedicated team of clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, PCTs, and case managers. The environment offers a unique chance to experience a well-equipped facility utilizing Meditech systems and various advanced equipment like IV pumps and walkers. Expect a schedule that includes four weekend shifts within a rotating holiday schedule, fostering a rhythm that balances work and rest. This assignment will challenge your surgical nursing skills and teamwork while offering an engaging, fast-paced setting that appreciates compassionate patient interactions and a shared commitment to quality.
