Job Description:

This 20-week contract offers an engaging opportunity for a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse to step into a fast-paced ICU setting focused on adult to geriatric cardiac and arrhythmia management. The role involves managing complex cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Dopamine, along with diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin infusions. You'll be providing care to patients with arrhythmias, post-cardiac cath, and those with conditions like CHF, pulmonary edema, and DVT. The unit operates with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio, utilizing systems like Epic and Pyxis. Expect to float within the facility, work every other weekend, and respond to occasional calls with a 2-hour response time. This assignment is suited for experienced nurses who thrive in managing complex cardiac cases, with a Navy Blue scrub dress code to highlight your professionalism.
