Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract places you in the ICU of a Nebraska hospital, where you'll work 12-hour day shifts. Your role involves managing adult critical care patients with conditions like trauma, cardiac issues, overdose, sepsis, stroke, and respiratory distress. You'll be responsible for titrating various drips, interpreting monitors, and assisting with ventilator troubleshooting, all in a fast-paced unit with 33 beds and an average census of 16. Expect to work every other weekend and participate in scheduled orientation shifts. The position emphasizes adherence to policies like fingernail restrictions and requires a current valid driver's license, especially for travel outside a 50-mile radius.
