Job Description:

Join our team as a Radiopharmaceutical Technologist on a 13-week contract, working 8-hour days in Eden, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and recording of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate patient identification, dose calculation, and proper documentation. Your day will include performing venous access procedures, describing exams to patients, obtaining informed consent, and evaluating requisitions and lab results. You will handle radiopharmaceuticals according to safety protocols, process images using RIS, PACS, and other systems, and coordinate patient transportation logistics. This position offers an opportunity to perform advanced duties like PET imaging and lead technologist responsibilities, all while maintaining patient safety and compliance with radiation safety regulations. Expect to be actively engaged in quality control, image analysis, and record keeping in a role that combines technical expertise with patient interaction.
