Job Description:

Join a community-based hospital in High Point, NC, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) duties. This 13-week travel assignment offers a chance to work in a highly monitored, fast-paced setting with 18 beds focused on cardiac and post-interventional care. Your role will involve continuous cardiac, respiratory, and neurological monitoring of patients with diagnoses such as NSTEMI, STEMI, post-surgical recovery, and respiratory failure. Expect to interpret cardiac rhythms, manage arterial lines, titrate drips, and provide non-invasive ventilator support. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of cardiac telemetry or PCU experience, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. The shift is 12 hours during nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with an every-6-week rotation and some holiday work, providing an engaging opportunity to hone critical care skills in a supportive team environment.
