Job Description:

Join the Interventional Radiology team at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or X-ray Tech with interventional radiology or cath lab experience. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art Siemens IR suite, with variable start times between 7 and 9 a.m. and shifts of 8 or 10 hours. The role involves performing diagnostic radiographic exams, assisting with interventional procedures, and helping maintain department standards. You’ll need an active Illinois IEMA license, ARRT certification in Radiology, and BLS, along with at least three years of technical experience. While this position is primarily focused on interventional radiology work, there may be opportunities to assist with general x-ray when procedures are not ongoing. The assignment features a flexible on-call schedule, initially two days per week, with potential future weekend call requirements.
