Job Description:

Join our team as an Oncology Registered Nurse on a medical floor dedicated to palliative care and oncology. This role involves caring for patients with conditions like COPD, diabetes, cellulitis, pancreatitis, sickle cell, and oncology. You will work 12-hour daytime shifts (07:00-19:30) for a 13-week contract, offering opportunities to manage chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and neutropenic precautions. The setting emphasizes inpatient medical experience, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, and offers the chance to float within scope to meet various department needs. Ideal for nurses comfortable with high-acuity cases and special precautions, this assignment provides a dynamic environment to sharpen your oncology nursing skills in a Level II Trauma Center.
