Job Description:

Join this rewarding labor and delivery nursing role at a teaching hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. You'll be working in the Mother Baby Center, providing care to women during labor and post-partum periods. The schedule offers 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights, totaling around 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. This assignment is perfect for experienced RNs with at least 2 years in labor and delivery and post-partum care, especially those comfortable with sterile vaginal exams, fetal monitoring—including internal methods—and administering medications like Pitocin and epidurals. You'll have opportunities to use advanced fetal monitoring techniques and work within a supportive, fast-paced environment where your skills will directly impact new mothers and their babies. The facility’s level 2 trauma designation and level of teaching make this a unique place to grow your expertise.
