Job Description:

Join a renowned tertiary care hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, as a PCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), providing specialized care for high-acuity pulmonary and cardiac patients, including ventilated trach patients, COPD, and pulmonary valve replacements. Expect to manage complex ventilator protocols, dysrhythmias, IV therapies, and assist with ventilator weaning and respiratory treatments. The assignment offers an engaging mix of routine monitoring and emergency response, with occasional floating across departments. The team appreciates experienced nurses comfortable handling advanced respiratory procedures and working in a fast-paced, magnet-recognized environment.
