Job Description:

Join a reputable Level II trauma Emergency Department in Lone Tree, Colorado, for a 13-week travel RN contract working the overnight 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role involves managing a busy ED with approximately 60 staff members and a patient volume that includes high-acuity cases, trauma, and stroke patients, all while utilizing advanced equipment such as certified chest pain monitors and thrombectomy capabilities. You’ll perform critical procedures like procedural sedation with agents such as Propofol, Etomidate, and Ketamine, and respond to high-volume emergency cases, requiring your swift clinical judgment and hands-on expertise. The unit emphasizes proactive patient engagement, team stability, and innovation in pain management strategies, including a 34% reduction in opioid usage.
