Job Description:

Join a bustling 65-bed Emergency Department in Salem, MA, as an Emergency Department RN during overnight shifts. This 13-week contract offers the chance to experience the fast-paced environment of a pod-based ED, including separate pediatric and mental health areas. You'll perform diverse nursing duties such as assessments, IV placements, EKG monitoring, phlebotomy, and patient education. The dedicated team works with a patient ratio of 1:4, providing care to a broad population with around 230 visits daily. The role requires quick critical thinking and strong general ED skills, with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are essential, with NRP and TNCC strongly preferred. You'll enjoy working with EPIC electronic health records and rotating shifts when necessary, with a focus on night shifts that do not rotate. This is a great opportunity for experienced emergency nurses looking for their next impactful assignment.
