Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in the Medical Care Unit of our facility, where you'll provide essential nursing support to patients with a variety of medical diagnoses. This role offers a chance to work with less acute cases, often awaiting long-term care placement, and includes exposure to both medical/surgical and psychiatric patient populations. The unit shares space with Inpatient Rehab, so flexibility to float between units and telemetry experience are preferred. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals while providing compassionate, high-quality service. Experience with EPIC EMR within the last year is required. The position involves 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, with an estimated gross weekly pay of approximately $2,051.97. Occasionally, you may be called upon to respond within one hour if needed, though there is no regular call rotation.
