Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers a lively med/surg nursing experience in a busy hospital setting, where you'll be working on a 32-bed inpatient unit that handles adult medical, surgical, and behavioral patients. The role requires flexibility with a 12-hour rotating schedule, including day and night shifts, every other weekend and holiday. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, all while navigating the latest in EMR systems like Epic. Expect to float to other units as needed, providing comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adaptability are key. Candidates with a minimum of two years' recent experience in a large hospital are encouraged to apply; familiarity with Level 1 trauma, Epic, and telemetry is essential. A good sense of humor might come in handy, but your nursing skills are the real star of this role.
