Job Description:

Join an esteemed acute care facility in St. Louis for a 13-week assignment as a Step Down Registered Nurse on the night shift. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips, and managing trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes. The shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours guaranteed weekly over three 12-hour nights, including every other weekend. You will have the chance to float within scope across lower acuity floors, providing flexible patient coverage while honing your bedside skills in a close-knit team. This position requires two years of experience and certifications such as ACLS, BCLS, and NIH, plus recent bedside experience within the last six months.
