Job Description:

Join a specialized labor and delivery unit on an exciting 26-week contract, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role offers the chance to work in a combined obstetric unit that includes vaginal and cesarean deliveries, post-partum, antepartum, and neonatal ICU services. You'll be part of a team managing both routine and complex obstetric cases, including procedures like versions, IOL, cervical ripening, and bereavement care. The position provides a mix of individual patient care and collaborative support, with staffing ratios ranging from 1:1 in active labor situations to 1:3/4 for stable antepartum cases. If floating outside your specialty, you'll assist fellow nurses with general nursing duties, making this a well-rounded and engaging experience for passionate RNs.
