Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit for an engaging 14-week contract in Rapid City, SD. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of caring for a diverse range of pregnant patients, from low-intervention laboring women to those with high-risk complications. With the region's only Level 3 NICU within a 350-mile radius, this assignment offers a unique opportunity to manage complex cases, including preeclampsia, preterm labor, and high-acuity labor scenarios, all while working alongside a supportive team supportive of your growth. Expect hands-on experience with IV starts, cervical checks, magnesium sulfate, and circulating C-sections, all within a well-equipped unit featuring 10 L&D beds, 4 OB triage beds, and 4 antepartum rooms. This role promises a dynamic environment where your expertise makes a tangible difference in patients' lives.

Job Specifics:

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Shift: 12-hour variable shifts, including nights and days, with every other weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed.
Duration: 14 weeks, 48 hours per week
