Job Description:

Join Boston Medical Center Place as an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel contract. In this role, you'll be part of a busy surgical services department, working across a variety of specialties including general, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neuroscience, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine. Your expertise in scrubbing and inpatient OR procedures will be vital in supporting high-quality surgical care. Expect to rotate shifts with start times at 7 am for day shifts and 9 am or 11 am for evening shifts, with every 3rd weekend and alternate holidays as needed. You may also float to the Moakley OR if necessary, providing flexibility in your work schedule. This assignment offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced, versatile environment with a dedicated 24/7 staffed OR. The team values a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and competence in at least five of the listed specialties. Prior experience in level 1 trauma centers and neuro or vascular surgeries is a plus. BLS certification is required.
