Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week contract in the emergency department of a vibrant hospital located in Utica, New York. This role is perfect for experienced ED RNs who thrive on fast-paced environments and enjoy managing a wide range of cases—including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest. The shift runs from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM with a 12-hour schedule that keeps your days busy and rewarding. Expect to work in a unit with 64 beds, including trauma and pediatric patients, utilizing advanced equipment like rapid infusors and Arctic Sun. Your expertise in EMR systems, specifically EPIC, and your ability to handle complex drips and medications such as pressors, vasodilators, and anti-arrhythmics, will make a difference here. The role offers a local rate for those within 75 miles and requires documentation of recent travel experience alongside active NY licensure and necessary certifications. This assignment provides an engaging opportunity to sharpen your skills and make a real impact in a high-acuity environment.
