Job Description:

Join a high-energy ICU team in Houston for a 13-week travel contract that offers an engaging and fast-paced environment. As an ICU nurse, you will be working 12-hour night shifts in a large Level 1 Trauma center, managing complex cases including heart failure, STEMI, pulmonary emboli, arrhythmias, and MICU overflow. This role requires expertise in ventilator management, pressor titration, hemodynamics, and advanced hemodynamic devices like PACs, CVP monitors, arterial lines, sheaths, IABP, Impella, and CRRT. You'll be part of a busy unit where quick thinking and flexibility are key—float to similar units as needed and work in a hospital that relies on your ability to troubleshoot ventilators and intervene in emergencies. Experience in a highly demanding hospital setting with 3+ years of RN experience and previous travel assignments is preferred to thrive here.
