Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment offers an engaging opportunity for experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses. Situated in a busy hospital with a 41-bed unit, you'll be providing care to post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and high fall risk patients. Shifts are 12 hours during the day, with a focus on comprehensive assessments, critical thinking, and managing complex care such as chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, and blood products. You'll also have opportunities to demonstrate your skills in telemetry, tracheostomy care, and PCA management. The role requires a resilient, detail-oriented nurse capable of adapting quickly within a fast-paced setting and possibly precepting students or new hires. This assignment is ideal for someone seeking a stable yet dynamic environment where every shift contributes to meaningful patient recovery efforts.
