Job Description:

Join our team in Medford, Oregon, for a 13-week travel contract on a MedSurg Post Surgical unit. If you're experienced with chest tubes, central lines, Heparin drips, NG tubes, JP drains, and wound vacs, this role is a great opportunity to showcase your skills. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing care for general surgical patients, including those recovering from urological, abdominal, trauma, ENT, and bariatric surgeries, excluding cardiac, orthopedic, and neuro cases. Your focus will be on patient stabilization, medication titration, and wound management in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5. The unit is staffed with charge nurses available 24/7, tele-tech monitoring, and CNAs, ensuring you’ll have support throughout your shifts. This assignment offers a chance to work in a supportive setting with opportunities to refine your clinical skills and participate in bedside reports, all while enjoying the scenic surroundings of southern Oregon.
